Park Specialist

This position performs general maintenance on grounds, and equipment in the park and makes minor repairs to park facilities. Job duties include mowing, weed trimming, trash pick-up, and cleaning facilities as needed. This position also operates commercial landscaping equipment, assists with cleaning and operating a swimming pool and cabin spas, and performs vehicle maintenance tasks. Applicant must have a valid driver's license, and be able to traverse rough terrain, lift up to 75 lbs., and work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some nights. A driving record check will be performed.

Applicants must meet or exceed the following qualifications: The ability to read, write and follow directions. The ability to perform manual labor and to operate and maintain the necessary tools and equipment. Other job-related education and/or experience may be substituted for all or part of these basic requirements, except for certification or licensure requirements, upon approval of the qualifications review committee.
