Position Overview
- Job Title: Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative
- Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Remote)
- Start Date: September 5, 2025
- Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week between 7:30 AM 6:30 PM Pacific Time
- Training: Paid, 3 weeks, 8:15 AM 5:00 PM Pacific Time (no time off allowed during training)
This role is remote, but candidates must meet specific technical and environmental requirements to ensure productivity and data security.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer calls with professionalism and empathy
- Resolve service issues related to residential and commercial waste services
- Conduct outbound communications when necessary to address inquiries
- Log and update customer interactions in internal systems accurately
- Review performance metrics and collaborate with supervisors to improve service delivery
- Enter service data and maintain detailed records of customer concerns
- Ensure timely follow-up on emails, calls, and faxes to close service loops
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of recent customer service or call center experience
- Ability to work full-time during designated hours
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and entering data
- Experience using bilingual skills, especially Spanish, is a plus
Remote Work Requirements
- Must have a hard-wired internet connection (no mobile hotspots or satellite internet)
- Packet Loss: 0%
- Must provide a distraction-free workspace
- Required to be on video during internal meetings and training sessions
- Company provides equipment; employee supplies internet
First 90 Days Policy
To ensure optimal development, employees may only request up to 3 PTO days within the first 90 days after training.
