**The Elevator Pitch: Why will you enjoy this new opportunity?**As part of VMware's Future of Work initiative, this position can be based remotely, anywhere in the U.S.As a Senior Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead the recruiting delivery for the AMER product/engineering teams for VMware's Networking and Security Business unit (NASBG) as well as the End User Computing (EUC) business unit. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a team of outstanding recruiters while partnering closely with innovative business leaders within two of VMware's growing businesses.Your leadership will span a distributed technical recruiting team as they support two equally distributed client groups.NASBG's mission is to connect and protect applications and users from cloud to datacenter, with a key opportunity to drive innovation in multi-cloud network policy; protect endpoints; and deliver unified protection across devices, users,?workloads,?and the network. Networking and security are essential for each of the three strategic initiatives that VMware is driving: multi-cloud infrastructure, modern applications, and Anywhere Workspace. NASBG is building systems that span all three of these initiatives.EUC BU is dedicated to secure and enable the future of anywhere work for VMware customers. EUC is critical to VMware's transformation into a subscription company as one of the largest subscription contributors for VMware, and is focused on driving the Anywhere Workspace solution, which is a top strategic priority for the company.**Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?**Meeting hiring targets:+ Meet your team and learn about them, their roles and the teams they support while also building collaborative and trusting partnerships with the Engineering leaders and hiring managers within these business groups.+ Develop an understanding of the business goals and the impact of hiring current roles/skillsets. Gain visibility and take an active role in mitigating current and future hiring challenges that may impede us from achieving hiring targets.+ Partner with extended TA Leadership and Operations to build and execute on the roadmap for strategic change, commensurate with the business' growth and organizational structure.Team development and maturation (recruiting and business):+ Leverage your prior management expertise to provide strong leadership and support to an exceptional team of recruiting professionals while developing their skills and capabilities through coaching, inspiration, and encouragement.+ Delivery of process change and enablement to all stakeholders using change management and extensive influencing skills.**What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?**Expect a variety of the following:+ Develop, support, and performance manage immediate team of recruiters. Oversee their individual workload volume, prioritizations and end-to-end req lifecycle. Ensure they are championing TA best practices and meeting compliance expectations.+ As the first point of escalation, you will resolve recruiter and/or business concerns while driving forward-looking resolutions.+ Partner with extended TA Leadership and Operations to build and execute on the roadmap for strategic change, commensurate with the business' growth and organizational structure.+ Partner with key business leaders – VPs and their directs, business operations, HR, Immigration, Legal, Finance, and extended TA stakeholders – to ensure req alignment, delivery and compliance.**What is the leadership like for this role?
