At TSP, we're looking for a Service Account Manager (SAM) with strong experience in the data storage industry to help drive customer success, operational excellence, and business growth with our strategic accounts-many of which rely on robust storage infrastructure.

SERVICE ACCOUNT MANAGERS AT TSP TYPICALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the primary point of contact for our enterprise storage customers, managing service delivery and customer satisfaction across key accounts.
  • Oversee all aspects of storage service operations, including inventory control, support coordination, customer training, and adherence to best practices.
  • Manage escalations and proactively communicate incident progress, root cause analyses, and resolution status to customer stakeholders.
  • Act as a customer advocate, collaborating cross-functionally with support, engineering, sales, product teams, and executive leadership to address customer needs and enhance service offerings.
  • Lead strategic planning sessions, including deployment readiness, capacity planning, storage migrations, and risk mitigation for data infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular on-site operational reviews and roadmap discussions, identifying opportunities for optimization and expansion.
  • Deliver insights to help align customers' IT roadmaps and data storage strategies with their broader business goals.
  • Identify and support new opportunities within existing accounts, working with internal teams to expand service value and product adoption.
  • Ensure seamless implementation of storage solutions within scheduled change control windows.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of storage technologies, including company's portfolio, to deliver tailored recommendations and expert-level support.
THE IDEAL PERSON FOR FILL THIS ROLE WILL HAVE EXPERIENCE SUCH AS:
  • Minimum 5 years in customer success, professional services, or technical account management, preferably in the data storage industry.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise storage environments, backup solutions, and data management strategies.
  • Skilled in managing complex service engagements across multiple accounts, with a focus on long-term customer satisfaction and value.
  • Effective in executive-level communication, both written and verbal-able to explain technical issues and business impact clearly.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a matrixed environment, influencing internal and external stakeholders alike.
  • Experience handling critical issues, performing root cause analysis, and leading process improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar platforms for service tracking and customer engagement.
  • Certifications like ITIL, PMP, PMI, or Six Sigma are a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
