QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma
* Secretarial and Bookkeeping Experience
* Accurately Type 55 WPM
* Personal Computer Knowledge
REPORTS TO: Director
JOB GOAL: To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the Department so that the office's maximum positive impact on Pulaski County Special School District can be realized.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Type letters, memos, reports, agendas, miscellaneous forms and requisitions.
* Assist in the preparation and maintenance of records and reports.
* Assist in research, typing, duplication and distribution of instructional materials.
* Maintain files concerning budget, expenditures/purchases, State Department reports, travel, etc.
* Answer phones, route messages and answer other department phones as necessary.
* Open and distribute mail for director and prepare outgoing mail for distribution.
* Maintain itinerary for Director.
* Work closely with personnel in all areas and departments to insure continuity of operations.
* Process requisitions for supplies/materials for office operation.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Salary Range: Range 6 - Support Staff Hourly Salary Schedule ($12.18/hr. - $23.60/hr. depending on relevant experience)
Length of Contract: 244 contract days
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Personnel Status: Classified
EVALUATION:
Performance of this job will be evaluated according to provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Services Personnel.
