As a As a Site Lead, you will support plant needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Heidelberg Materials North America, previously known as Lehigh Hanson, operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada.What You'll Get to Do:Operate mobile equipment on plant property (loader, haul truck, water truck, etc.)Maintain cleanliness of plant work areasAssist with plant tasks including lubrication, maintenance, repairsTransport materials to and from storage and shop areasEnsure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures; assist with physical inspections of plant property/departments.Essential Experience and Skills:Safety First AttitudeHigh school diploma or GED requiredDesire to work cooperatively as part of a productive teamAbility to work safely, and independently without constant supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsCapable of learning through on-the-job trainingAbility to work in extremes of hot and cold weather.In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders, and walk on varied terrainMust be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours vary; overtime work, weekends, and nights may be required.Preferred Experience and Skills:Previous experience in an open pit minePrior experience leading teams would be desirableExperience using plant mobile equipmentWhat We Have to Offer:$35.00 - $50.00/ hourMedical, Dental, Vision, Health Saving Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Prescription Drug/Pharmacy benefit, AD&D, Short-Term & Long-Term Disability.
